Abstract

In this paper, a three-dimensional virtual model of an agricultural robot is established by describing and analyzing the position and attitude of the agricultural robot and the workspace, and it is imported into ADAMS software for further model import and design. The agricultural robot operation course incorporates new technologies such as virtual simulation technology, creating a "virtual and real" teaching situation. By arranging comparative teaching experiments and analyzing the experimental data, we assessed the changes in the operation ability, attitude, teaching effect, interest and immersion of the agronomy students. The conclusions showed that the use of virtual robot teaching presented a significant effect (P<0.05) in the development of students' operation ability and attitude compared with physical robot teaching. In terms of immersion, virtual robot teaching was comparable to physical robot teaching (P=0.126). The pre- and post-test composite assessment scores of the virtual class increased from 70.8 to 88. All of the students' virtual teaching interest assessments exceeded a score of 4, which is a high interest value. Therefore, the results of this paper play a role in promoting the teaching reform of the agricultural robotics course.
