Abstract

This volume of Uniform Distribution Theory is dedicated to Robert F. Tichy on the occasion of his 50th birthday. The present note highlights his scientific achievements, emphasizing the breadth of his research contributions, which span number theory, actuarial mathematics, and mathematical chemistry, and are documented in more than 200 publications co-authored with over 70 collaborators.
