Content platform
Every journal is hosted on our publishing platform, which handles DOI registration, automated metadata, citation linking and advanced search. It connects with Crossref and the main indexing databases, and is designed with accessibility in mind.
Editorial systems
We set up and run the editorial software for each journal: online submission, peer review management and research integrity checks. Our team configures every workflow around the needs of the journal and trains editors in how to use it.
Editorial services
Every accepted article goes through language editing, copy-editing and typesetting by our production team. We also produce XML metadata and full-text formats that improve discoverability and meet the requirements of indexing databases.

Engineering Journals is the publisher of each title and is responsible for publishing operations, publication ethics standards and the integrity of the scholarly record, including corrections and retractions through Crossmark.
Editorial decisions
Editors-in-chief and editorial boards make the decisions on peer review, acceptance and scientific content. We make sure the process follows the journal’s policies and publication ethics.
Website management
We maintain each journal’s website (aims and scope, policies, submission guidelines, contact details) in agreement with the editorial board.

A dedicated contact for every journal
Every journal has a dedicated contact in our team who handles daily operations, from technical issues to practical advice. This person is also the main link between the editorial board and our production, technical and marketing teams.
