Abstract

This paper mainly proposes an intelligent piano education model based on music theory. The musical characteristics of the piano, twelve equal temperament and other theories are integrated into the piano evaluation method, and the piano playing characteristics are extracted by using Fourier transform and so on, and the real piano notes are extracted according to the harmonic reset and octave correction algorithm. This piano music evaluation method based on music theory knowledge is used in specific piano music teaching practice, and the effectiveness of this paper’s method is discussed through performance tests and research studies. The test results show that the recall, precision, and F-value of this paper’s method for estimating main melody notes exceed 0.9, with a high precision rate. Performers of different piano grades were selected to test the system judging accuracy, and the test results show that the method of this paper can reflect the real level of the performers and help piano teaching. 33.4% of the learners are willing to utilize intelligent piano teaching for further learning.
