Abstract

Digital technology has injected new vitality into college physical education teaching, and in the context of the digital era, college physical education has begun to transform from teaching form to teaching mode and from teaching concept to teaching resources. This paper realizes the innovative design of physical education teaching strategies under the empowerment of new technology by exploring the operation mechanism of new technology-enabled physical education teaching and constructs a specific implementation framework of the strategies. Subsequently, the implementation effect of teaching strategies was analyzed using an independent sample t-test. Under the technology acceptance model, Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression models were used to analyze students’ acceptance of new technology-enabled physical education teaching. The P-values of movement skill scores, performance scores, and total scores of the students under this teaching strategy were less than 0.05 compared to those of the students learning by traditional methods, all of which were significantly different and achieved higher scores. This indicates that physical education empowered with new technology helps students master movement skills, enhance expressiveness, and achieve better performance. In the stage movement assessment, the performance of students in the experimental group and the control group changed less significantly in the early stage but changed more significantly from the beginning of the middle stage to the late stage, and the significance of the difference gradually increased. This paper indicates a strategic path for the digital transformation of physical education.
