Research on the Construction of the Path of Cultivating Practical Ability of Digital Talents in New Business Disciplines Driven by Big Data

Abstract

This paper firstly researches and analyzes the current situation and problems of digital talent cultivation in a new business discipline in a university. According to the data of enrollment and employment in the school, the grey correlation analysis method is used to explore the correlation between social demand and digital talent cultivation. Then, based on these correlation indexes, we constructed a “dual” digital talent practical ability cultivation path to realize the balanced development of talents' theoretical and practical abilities. The test results show that only 13.42% of the respondents are satisfied with the current digital talent cultivation work, and more than 50% of the respondents are not clear about the positioning of talent cultivation goals. The practice of general education elective courses only accounts for 0% of the modules, so the current training courses have the problem of emphasizing theory over practice. According to the correlation analysis, 8 aspects of teaching activities were found to be in need of adjustment. In conclusion, the “dualization” talent cultivation path in this paper can output business talents whose practical ability meets the needs of the society.
