Abstract

This study takes the socialist core values as the lead, and actively carries out the research on the innovation path of ideological education in colleges and universities in the new era. Firstly, it carries out a quantitative research on the socialist core values of college students. And based on the results of the quantitative study, the practice strategy of socialist values leading the Civic and Political Education is proposed. Subsequently, the Civic and political education was applied to the actual classroom teaching of the principles of management, and the data from the questionnaire survey of the control class and the experimental class were analyzed comparatively. It was found that the mean values of the dimensions of socialist core values of college students ranged from 3.85 to 4.52, indicating that the social core values of college students are more compatible. Students’ overall acceptance of the concept of course philosophy in teaching Principles of Management Civics is high (M=4.745), and their overall acceptance (M=4.136) of the teaching activities in the four segments guided by the concept of course Civics (“top-level design”, “material excavation”, “fine-tuned Process” and “Innovative Evaluation”) of the teaching and learning activities were more recognized overall (M=4.136). Most of the students evaluated the teaching effect of the model highly. It proves that the socialist values-led Civics teaching strategy proposed in this paper has achieved good results.
