Abstract

Civic education can play a powerful role in motivation and promotion, which is a major advantage of the function of civic education, and strengthening the integration of physical education and civic education is of great significance in enhancing the effectiveness of physical education and improving the quality of students’ thinking. The article firstly investigates the current situation of sports and civic politics in a school, and puts forward a two-way integration path of sports teaching and civic politics education for the current problems, which is technically supported by the construction of sports and civic politics knowledge and the development of education big data analysis platform. In the empirical analysis part, the article puts forward the evaluation index system of the two-way integration path of physical education and civic-political education, and conducts a pre-test and post-test experiment on students’ physical health and physical education and civic-political education. After being applied to the teaching of physical education and Civics and Politics in a school, it is found that after the teaching of Civics and Politics through the physical education program, it can not only improve students’ physical health, but also enhance students’ patriotism, stimulate students’ interest in learning, cultivate students’ ideals, and help students set up a lifelong awareness of sports.
