3D Internet of Things Virtual Art Animation Lab Design

Abstract

Virtual laboratory teaching based on information technology provides a viable solution to the current problems of insufficient experimental equipment and places, as well as the inability to meet the personalized needs of students’ experiments. This paper uses the VR-Platform tool to create a virtual reality environment, and the Qt software toolset is chosen as the platform for the virtual laboratory art animation system. The interaction method’s overall design framework is used to design the human skeleton for character bone animation, resulting in a highly anthropomorphic character animation model. Study joint motion and skeleton kinematics to design interactive actions and control animation speed. Utilize matrix and quaternion mixing techniques to carry out spatial transformation and complete the interaction between art animation and virtual scenes. Utilizing the Internet of Things technology, design the remote server, network data transmission, and mobile intelligent terminal of the virtual art animation laboratory. Finally, the virtual art animation laboratory system’s operation module is developed, tested, and analyzed in terms of system performance and impact on experience. The test results show that the system’s total reading time is about 2.65% of the total rendering time, which is good real-time performance. Meanwhile, the system’s scores in the six evaluation dimensions are all greater than 4.0, indicating a good practical teaching effect. Therefore, it is of enormous significance to construct a virtual art animation laboratory to improve the practical skills of current art animation students.
