Abstract

This paper clarifies the importance of teaching methods for physical education, and points out the teaching advantages of online sports video. The teaching of physical education skills involves three aspects: teaching objectives, teaching tasks, and teaching ideas. The online video module is embedded in the sports teaching module, and video summary technology is used to summarize important and difficult points in teaching sports skills. In view of the characteristics of sports skill teaching, a video summary method based on real-time video streaming is proposed to sync static and dynamic video to meet the requirements of skill teaching. Introducing the video summarization evaluation criterion, we construct two indicators, OR and CD, to compare and evaluate the reasonableness of the proposed video summarization technique in this paper. The effectiveness of online video teaching of statistical sports is evaluated from the viewpoints of students and teachers. The online video teaching of sports was acknowledged by most of the students and they highly rated their performance during the online video teaching of sports. Sports online video teaching is believed by teachers to promote classroom interaction, but there is still room for improvement in answering questions in class.
