Abstract

In this paper, the genetic algorithm improved by simulated annealing algorithm is used to optimize the model, material and other key parameters in 3D animation design. The parallax calculation and visual comfort evaluation results are combined with experts’ subjective assessments to comprehensively measure the visual performance effect of 3D animation design works before and after parameter optimization. Comparison of the experimental results shows that the average value of subjective visual performance of the generated 3D animations increases to 4.47 after the parameter optimization, and the visual comfort, peak signal-to-noise ratio and structural similarity scores of the 3D animations in the objective evaluation are all multiplied compared with those before the parameter optimization. The effective optimization of key parameters in 3D animation design through an improved genetic algorithm significantly improves the visual performance of the finished animation and enhances the visual experience of 3D animation design.
