Abstract

Virtual reality (VR) technology integrates various scientific technologies such as computer simulation technology, computer graphics technology, display technology, and sensor technology. It creates a virtual information environment in a multi-dimensional information space, enabling users to obtain an immersive experience and possess excellent interactive capabilities with the environment. VR technology is widely applied in the field of display design. Store display in the furniture industry mainly focuses on traditional physical displays, mostly adopting seasonal, comprehensive, thematic, classified, close-up, and holiday display methods. This product display approach occupies a large area with high rent, resulting in poor scenario-based shopping experiences for customers. Faced with the personalized demands of home decoration consumption, traditional furniture sales displays fail to meet customer needs, necessitating the exploration of new display forms. The prevalence of intelligent mobile terminals and wearable devices has created conditions for the promotion of new display technologies, making the application of virtual reality technology in the home furnishing industry possible. This research focuses on children's bedroom furniture and explores how to utilize VR technology to enhance the interactivity, immersion, and purchase decision-making efficiency of children's furniture displays by combining the five-dimensional theory of experiential marketing. By analyzing the characteristics of the children's furniture market, consumer behavior driving factors, and parental needs, this paper proposes a VR children's bedroom furniture display design framework based on experiential marketing, emphasizing the importance of sensory experience, emotional experience, cognitive experience, behavioral experience, and social experience in VR design. The research demonstrates that VR technology can effectively enhance the authenticity and interactivity of children's furniture displays, and constructing an AI-based personalized recommendation system, providing references for the future digital transformation of the furniture industry.
