Continuously improving and strengthening the work of ideology and politics in colleges and universities and continuously promoting the development of intelligent ideology and politics in colleges and universities have a good effect on improving the overall quality of students. The article proposes a working model of “intelligent ideology and politics” in applied undergraduate colleges and universities in the era of media integration. The article discusses the use of the clustering method in the analysis of students’ portraits and proposes an optimization path for precise ideology and politics in colleges and universities based on students’ portraits. Finally, the article takes the student group portrait of undergraduate colleges and universities as the entry point, explores the internal logic of the student group portrait of colleges and universities, deduces the implementation path of “intelligent civic politics”, and puts forward the intervention strategy. Through the experiment, it is concluded that in the analysis of satisfaction with educational work, from the perspective of the secondary index of daily education, the average value of the overall satisfaction of most of the students is 0.77, and the overall satisfaction is high, which indicates that the working mode of “intelligent civic politics” pays great attention to the issue of students’ civic politics education.
